As FairPoint has grown, our company goal has remained consistent, to be the local telephone company founded on reliability and community.

While FairPoint is committed to expanding the availability of high-speed access to the Internet, we are equally devoted to expanding effective use of our network technologies throughout the areas we serve by supporting ongoing digital literacy initiatives and investing in community broadband applications. Broadband technologies hold the promise for improving the ways our communities connect to information, services, opportunities and each other. In the 21st century, information enriches our lives, personally, educationally, socially and economically. Those without the skills to use digital information will become increasingly disadvantaged at home, at school and in the workplace.
